UHMW Rubber Backed Piling Protection

PM&I supplies UHMW piling protection in two configurations — rubber-backed UHMW and UHMW fender sheets — to protect pilings from vessel contact and abrasion at piers and docks.

The catalog includes UHMW rubber-backed piling protection (UHMW facing bonded to a rubber backing for added cushioning) and UHMW fender piling protection (UHMW fender sheets without a rubber backing), both available curved or flat, with pre-drilled mounting holes if needed and a choice of colors.

Rubber-backed UHMW adds cushioning behind the low-friction UHMW face, while standard UHMW fender sheets provide a durable, low-maintenance wear surface without the added cushioning layer — selection typically comes down to whether additional impact absorption is needed for the specific piling application.
