D = Shaft Diameter in inches (mm)

E = Modulus of Elasticity in Tension, lbs/in2 (Mpa)

W1 = Weight of one cubic inch (cm3) of material, pounds (gm)

Note: the minimum required spacing for rigid bearings should exceed 20 shaft diameters when possible to facilitate alignment
